This site was migrated from chrisereneta.com and redesigned in 2026, along with the professional rebrand to “CJ”.
I hadn’t updated my site since 2013, and golly it showed.
For the primary site typefaces I close Mozilla Headline and Mozilla Text, whose character and legibility delight me. For the colophon I turned to Garalda, based on a mix of historical Garamonds.
The site was designed in code (rather than a graphics application). Its HTML is, on the whole, hand-coded—with skills I first picked up in the 1990s, and built upon in the 2010s. I leaned on assistance from robots for more of the CSS, especially when it came to the flexbox details.
The words on the site are entirely my own, including the image alt text.
